What is the purpose of religion?

Nowadays, religion is often an excuse for like-minded people to gather. The churches of religion are often sanctuaries for the widowed, homeless, poor, orphaned, addicted and lonely. Local churches of religion are established by careful planning, and sometimes the control vehicles of local, state and federal governments, to move and monitor the masses of people according to hidden agendas.

Religion is often used to bring insecure people together to create a large power by joined effort, and receive a power to control through group dynamics.

Religion supports many causes, and many groups, with many varied purposes.

Religion is a club where many people can belong, and often a great money making opportunity.

Religion sometimes offers a teaching of the Things of God, that can uplift and inspire those who follow their doctrines and ways.

Religion is a war tool, that is usually involved in hatred and excuse for violence, in the false notion of blood shed for righteousness by men other than Jesus Christ.

Religion is almost always polluted with false doctrine and teachings when compared to the Word of God.

RELIGION IS NOT A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST OR THE HOLY SPIRIT.

RELIGION DOES NOT REPLACE THE RELATIONSHIP OF A BELIEVER TO HIS LORD GOD!

A congregation of true believers to the LORD God can gather and worship and learn without the doctrines of religion interfering, and all can receive the precious grace of forgiveness of the LORD God through the shed blood of Jesus Christ and their belief that He died and resurrected for their sin.

The best news ever! The gift of salvation can be received without once being touched by religion!

Religion does not save a believer! Faith in Jesus Christ is the only way to eternal life!
